Austwide Locums proudly supports Global Health Connect, a network of doctors interested in the developing world and global health issues, such as indigenous health.

Global Health Connect’s goal is to create global health initiatives and opportunities, and to generate awareness within the medical community. GHC provides:

● A supportive forum for discussing and educating Australian doctors on issues
● Information and contacts to guide doctors who are inspired to combine a career in Australia with volunteer work in the developing world

Doctors can connect with members who have already volunteered through GHC and prepare for working in a developing country, or share experiences at meetings, which are held every second month.
